The video below is a short intro to “Superplexus Vortex”, a private commission completed on June 18th, 2009 by Michael McGinnis, the original inventor of the Perplexus. It is called “Vortex” because from one viewpoint, that’s what it looks like!
Made of Birch aircraft plywood, acrylic, Jatoba and stainless steel, it was created by as part of a limited edition of five units. Dimensions of 36″ x 45″ x 50″ make it one of the larger puzzles available.
